The Come and Go

Every time they make love, it’s a shared heartbreak.

Every time they come together, they fall apart to say goodbye.

It’s hard, this thing they’ve got going. Unlike Killua and Gon, these two can’t find permanence quite yet. But Leorio is always there and waiting and when he says goodbye, sometimes it’s bitter. And Kurapica, he’s always going – to return. He walks away, but sometimes he looks back.

So they make love, they don’t have sex, they don’t come to come. They shatter and break, but they still love. And they try not to question whether it’s worth all that.
